Our Pretty Pink Present

Considering that our last post was "Coming this March", I figured it was about time to post about what CAME in March:)  Having a little girl in the house is so, so much fun!!!  God is so kind to give us the desires of our hearts.  We prayed so hard for our sweet Ariana Grace, and now we can't praise Him enough for His gift to us!  Life is fun, full and busy with holding a sweet baby, reading with my boys, diaper changes, kisses, meals, grocery shopping with three little ones, listening to Wesley read The Word, feeding Ariana, date nights at Longhorns, lots and lots of laundry, sorting through thousands of pictures from the last two years, potty training, singing, training littles, smooching with hubby on the porch swing in the dark, visiting with my Mama when she comes to visit her grandbabies...  Life is good.  And here are a few pix of ours lately.

                                   The Princess in Pink.

And two of her adoring subjects.

                                     We like her a lot.

Joseph holds her the most I think.

William mostly likes to give her kisses.
Mommy prefers that he be reasonably clean first. ;)
                                          Pretty girl:)

The house, looking pretty much the same as in the last post.
                                  We love our porch!

Now we are working on the back of the house and yard.
Aren't my concrete stairs lovely?  ;)

The giant swing set Wesley and the kids are working on in his spare time.

And another one of Wesley's projects.

I can't wait to get the back porch finished!!

And we finally got around to putting something above the mantle.  :)

And here's a pic of the "barn" kitchen the church has been working on.  Hopefully it will be finished before the conference in May!

The munchies thought something was funny.  Probably mommy's goofy attempts to get them both to look in the same direction and smile for five seconds.

And I leave you with this picture of a happy big brother who thinks his little sis is the best present he ever got.  This kid LOVES Ariana!

  3. Wonderful post, Rachel. Ariana is so beautiful - I too, noticed that she is darker than the boys, will likely look like her beautiful Momma!

I am so happy for you!

Your house is lovely - I especially love the porch!

  6. What a sweetie indeed! I can't believe how dark her hair is compared to the boys! I have some blondies and some brunettes (and one who I swore was going to be a redhead, but isn't!)

She really is adorable, I know you are so thankful for a healthy sweet baby!
